Well here comes 2011!!!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and happy times with family and friends. Christmas merchandise is now 20% to 50% off at Gatherings. We are ready to move on to our Winter White Sale in January!!! If you have never visited us, now would be a great time to take advantage of our After Christmas Sale and Winter White Sale! In January we will mark down many of our "white" pieces to make room for new merchandise. I am traveling to England on January 25th for a shopping trip and will be bringing back wonderful new merchandise. The container will be here the first part of March, so put that on your caldendar as well.

21 Days Until Christmas
Only 21 days left until Christmas!!! Gatherings is getting ready for the Christmas Stroll this Saturday, December 4, here in Georgetown. If you live in the area and have never visited our square at this time of year, tomorrow is the perfect time to do so!!! Vendors will set up on the square, there will be a parade, Whoo-Ville area, pictures with Santa at the North Pole area and an ice sculpture artist on Austin Avenue at 2:00. This is the 30th Annual Christmas Stroll and always a favorite event in Georgetown!!
Christmas merchandise is flying out the door so everybody is busy decorating for the holidays! Come by and see some of our vintage inspired Christmas trees we have created this year. Have a Great Weekend!!

Holiday Open House 2010
Thank you to all of our dealers and customers who made this year's Christmas Open House a huge success!
We had a great turnout and was surprised with a visit from our friends from Antique Queens from Rockdale, TX. They have a beautiful store, and if you have never been -- you are definitely missing out! Check out their blog at http://antiquequeensrockdale.blogspot.com/
Our friend Leanne Brawner came and took some beautiful photographs of the store. She even took some photos of our customers in front of our big Christmas Tree. We had so much fun with her!

Gatherings
Gatherings is an antique and home decor store located in the heart of Georgetown, TX. We are located 2 blocks south of the Georgetown square at 1009 South Austin Avenue. Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 10:30 am until 5:30 pm, and on Sunday from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Closed Monday. Stephanie Ehrhardt and Cathy Slobod opened Gatherings in September of 2009. They shared a vision to create an intriguing setting for all to enjoy. Gatherings has made an impression with its unique vignettes and unusual styling. The customers at Gatherings comment that the store is an escape from reality and often call it their "Happy Place." You will not only find wonderful collections of merchandise old and new at Gatherings, but you will always be greeted as a friend.
Stephanie and Cathy are very lucky to have such wonderful dealers who share their passion for antiques and decorating. Gatherings consists of an eclectic array of dealers which will be highlighted once a month in our "Dealer of the Month" segments. In this segment, we will give our customers a glance into the lives of our dealers and learn how they ended up part of the Gatherings family. Gatherings is known as a treasure chest of hard to find collectibles by some of the biggest collector’s in Texas.
Other segments to look for on the Gatherings blog is “Decorating Tip of the Month” and “New Merchandise” photographs updated regularly.
